Spencer had 3 Art pieces selected for the Photography, Visual arts and Recycled arts Categories. in which he one an award for his sculpture "stop selling the planet"One third of landfill sites contain packaging waste that manufacturers use unnecessarily to sell their products. Forests are destroyed and the manufacture and transportation of excessively packaged products leads to an increase in greenhouse gases. This installation uses recycled packaging from a UAE Railway project to transform the product, “Railway Clip”, into an object of desire via beautified unnecessary packaging, to highlight the impact to the environment in the use of unsustainable packaging for profit."
