Facial hair has been groomed and crafted for centuries  to express one's style, tribe, culture, religion, gender, masculinity, power?    However for the last 2.5 years with the wearing of mandatory facemasks, the beard and mustache and its symbolism, interpretation and meaning has vanished from the world.

Spencer created this series of self portraits to engage the viewer to think about how facial hair can alter the opinion and impression of an individual by others? Which one of these portraits would you trust? Would you give them all a Job? Who do you respect? What  Which one of the profiles would you consider a leader
